Dr. István ZELNIK is a former highranking Hungarian diplomat, founder of the Southeast Asian Gold Museum in Budapest and the Hungarian Southeast Asian Research Institute. As specialist of Southeast Asia and Indochina, he spent more than 40 years there, became an ardent lover of the Art and Culture of Asia. He has been collecting art from Central Asia, Far East, China, Japan and Southeast Asia for over 55 years and today owns one of the most important private collection of antique gold, silver, bronze, ivory, porcelain, gemstone, silk, wood, glass in the world. Dr.István Zelnik has financed more than 20 years of Cultural Heritage,Research Works and Book Editions in Cambodia and Vietnam.
